We accompany our customers as a full-service provider in the fields of gifts, floristry and seasonal decoration.
Since the company was founded, we see ourselves as a partner for the specialist retail trade.
Our effort is to offer unique, easily marketable goods. The sustainable further development of the range is close to our heart, to present real novelties without an indicate of the year.
We seek a friendly relationship with our customers: at trade fairs, in the showroom, via the field service or on the phone. The direct contact between long-standing customers and motivated employees is particularly important to us. The personal support ensures customer satisfaction and a high level of identification within the Lang team.
We are very flexible and also try to fulfil individual wishes. Whether it concerns the processing of an order or the product design, customers should be able to count on us. A reliable and flexible cooperation is the basis for successful selling. Great importance is attached to a unique handwriting within our product range.
We take note of trends, but do not submit to them. " New" or "different" is not enough for us. More important is the harmony in the assortment and the saleability of the single piece.

History of our company
Founded in 1961 by Georg and Katharina Lang, the company "Lang Korbwaren" with up to 30 home workers quickly developed into a driving force among Austrian basket producers.
In the mid-1980s, the next generation, Reinhold and Brigitte Lang, took over the helm and started direct imports from Asia.
The new main clientele, gardeners and florists, was also reflected in the product range. Classical basket and weaved underlays became the basis for floral decorations made of dried plants or of silk flowers.

In 1990 a new company building was built and only 5 years later it had to be enlarged.
For the first time, in-house fairs were organized.
Even then, Lang Kunstgewerbe GmbH was an integral part of the industry trade fairs in Salzburg.

In 2000, Lang Kunstgewerbe was co-founder of Trend Carrousels, a group of leading suppliers of gift, decoration and seasonal articles, which for years set the trends in the line of business.
The new millennium brought a continuous further development of the range to meet the market demands.
This led the way towards gift articles for all seasons of the year, but especially Christmas.
Inhouse-production was successively reduced and replaced by exclusive product design in order to continue to offer customers unique products.

The most important success was the birth of the angel figure "Igor", a cheeky and mischievous angel, with which Lang Kunstgewerbe suddenly became an European and worldwide exporter.
With the participation in additional international trade fairs (Christmasworld Frankfurt,. . . ), the company was now internationally active and delivered the new brand item across Austria and Europe's borders to all parts of the world.
In 2008 our Konstantin was born and crowned the 4th. Lang-generation.
Since this joyful occasion, the family business supports the charitable association of the "Herzkinder Austria", which takes care of children with congenital heart diseases and their relatives.
With the sale of the Herkinder-Igors, 30.000,- Euro could already be donated to this good cause since then.

A further expansion at the company site in Pasching in 2009 enabled more efficient workflows and optimal customer service with a larger showroom, additional work and storage space.
In 2011 the company celebrated its 50th anniversary and was awarded as a traditional Upper Austrian company.
With Philip Lang, the third generation has been continuing the company's history since 2012.
At a very early age he was introduced to the company by his parents and was mainly assigned in purchasing.
His handwriting runs through the entire assortment, and he was also the leading force in the success story of the angel Igor.

In 2019 Philip Lang took the step towards the company's next highlight.
With the participation in the international megashow in Hong Kong, the well-known angel brand Igor shall be promoted and established worldwide.

Seit 2012 schreibt mit Philip Lang nun die dritte Generation die Firmengeschichte weiter.
Er wurde von den Eltern schon sehr früh ins Unternehmen eingeführt und vor allem im Einkauf eingesetzt.

Seine Handschrift zieht sich durch das gesamte Sortiment, auch war er die federführende Kraft bei der Erfolgsgeschichte des Engels Igor.
